Alot of people ask me why a session takes up to 3 hours. The answer is simple:
Most people can not explain to you the full depth of their problems in less than 45 mins, not to mention me asking questions, clarifications and explainatory tangents that people go on (anyone pretending to offer full understanding of your problems and complete change in 1 hour or less isprobably NOT getting the full idea of the problem NOR having enough time to fix it). My work is based on my own personal integrity of doing a QUALITY job that i'm paid to do, so I ensure I do it thouroughly. I usually estimate an hour to have a full understanding of the presenting problems and client's history. Next, we have the change work, the magic, the therapy, the hypnosis - whatever it is we need to use to solve your individual dramas for you- I usually estimate another hour for this part also. Then finally the last hour is purely dedicated to 'clean-up'. This involves strategies to make the changes permanent and long-lasting, checking to make sure the changes have initegrated well, extra processes that need to be done as a by-product of the main problems being resolved and an entourage of other little pieces that can pop-up. A full Three-hour afternoon with me FLYS by. The number one comment I hear more than anything is "Finished? - No, No way, it can NOT be 3 hours already!?! It only seems like I've been here an hour!!" - and it ALWAYS seems like that to me as well! Even the most intense problems usually only need one session.
It is very rare to need more than one.
Couples Therapy is discounted to $300 ($50 OFF per session) ($600 total) because I structure it in such a way that each person gets 3 hours with me individually - I do one 3 hour session with each person to clean up their own individual issues regarding the relationship. My unrivalled success with couples is due to my unique approach to the work. When each person cleans up their own individual issues, their own problems and their own beliefs about how others should be, there is rarely any problem left between the couple. Relationship problems are always our own internal thoughts, feelings and ways of being causing the problems, it's never the other persons' fault, and you think it is.. that is because you are refusing to take responsibility for your own thoughts and feelings by blaming others. That is why my couples therapy is so successful.
