COMMON QUESTIONS

If you can fix all of these things then your life must be perfect – and since nobody’s life is perfect that makes all of this stuff a load of crap. What do you think about that?
I think that its pretty amazing that you think that makes any logical sense. I also think it's weird that if everything I do is a ‘load of crap’– that you still took the time to read through my website [and you must be looking to solve a problem to have found my site in the first place], THEN send me an email obviously hoping for a reply. These are very incongruent actions for someone who thinks this is ‘all a load of crap’. What was the ONE sentence you were looking for within my website that was going to make you believe it? – Obviously you didn’t find it. Can I know what it is so I can include it for others?
And, my life is pretty good. I have fun, I enjoy learning and making people happy. Of course I have problems now-and-then. That is THE PROBLEM with problems, when you are stuck inside a problem it's very hard to get out because of the mental constructural nature of having the problem. Have you ever had a problem, then a friend came up and explained to you that they had the EXACT same problem as you? – I bet you knew exactly what THEY needed to do to fix the problem, but oddly enough the same solution just didn’t seem to apply to your problem. This is because you were INSIDE the problem. I would have to say one my biggest pet hates in this world is therapists who put ridiculous “look at my stupid fake big-cheesy-grin my-life-is-perfect you-wish-you-were-me” photos on their websites [and business cards]. – It is crazy. EVERYONE seems to do it, yet every one of them think that fake “i-have-absolutely-no-problems-left-in-my-life” photos look rediculous on everyone else. This is exactly what I’m talking about above. For some reason their problems don’t seem to apply to themselves but they always know that other people shouldn’t use those photos.
What is Orthomolecular Medicine (psycho-nutrition)?
It’s a very effective science based on nutrition. Certain feelings, emotions, states of mind etc can often be attributed to a serious lack of certain vitamins, proteins or amino acids. For example a common thing is mild depression and fatigue – quite often people get fantastic results by taking an L-tyrosine supplement to rebuild the right brain chemistry of catachalomines and adrenalin stores and heating milk will cause a chemical change which produces 5HTP which converts to serotonin (the happy mood brain chemical) and melatonin (the deep-sleep brain chemical) in the brain.
I must say however, I am in NO WAY qualified in any type of this medicine. I do have a very good knowledge of it, however any advice is given solely as ‘friendly advice’ and should be checked out if it is right for you by a GP or nutrtionist.

Is this Life Coaching?
No. Not really. If you are interested in my coaching services, my coaching is based on linguistic NLP and a humanistic coaching model. It creates rapid results conversationally over the phone. Imagine it as a mix between counselling, therapy and coaching.
When it comes to actual ' Life Coaching' If you do a little research into the 'life coaching model' you may find that the ONLY people making an income life-coaching are those who are teaching others to become life-coaches. A LOT of people graduate as a ‘life-coach’ each year, yet no-one I’ve ever met has been to a life-coach or seen a ‘life-coach’ with a full-time practise. There is a reason for this.
Is this just motivational hype-up “You can do it!” stuff?

No. This is a common thought with most people due to going to hype-up free seminars that focus on winding you up into a buying frenzy by 'breaking through wood' or using the tender part of your neck to 'snap an archery arrow' [metaphorically representing breaking through negative emotions]. Tthat motivation is very short lived. Normally a week or two. No real long-term changes tend to take place with this kind of thing.

What are your Qualifications? How Do I know You can do the job?
In order to be a fully qualified practioner in NLP - the full 'course' takes around 7 to 10 days. That's it.
Next, In order to be a fully qualified MASTER PRACTITIONER of NLP- That's around another 2 weeks at the most.
NEXT, to be a fully qualified TRAINER of NLP is another 7 to 10 days (and this course is NOT even about NLP, it's a course anybody in any field can go and do based on effective presentation skills and public speaking).
And finally, the hypnotherapy qualifications - once you have completed your 3 weeks or so of MASTER NLP PRACTITIONER, you automatically get given FULL MASTER HYPNOTHERAPY qualifications because NLP can be hypnotic in nature. You get given these qualifications without doing anything more than the 3 weeks of NLP training. The reason I am letting this be known is because there is a staggering number of people claiming to be MASTER NLP PRACTITIONERS and MASTER HYPNOTHERAPISTS because the general public naturally assumes that to be MASTER qualified in anything MUST be years of study. Obviously in NLP and Hypnotherapy - it is not even months of study.
A large number of people every month enquire about my qualifications. The reason I do not have them listed is because in NLP and hypnotherapy it just does NOT matter. I got my qualifications in 2001. My NLP training and hypnosis training were actually different courses back then. It's not like that now. In all honesty, my hypnosis trainers were pretty good, my NLP trainers were really quite ordinary. Either way... a persons' qualifications in these fields mean NOTHING. Nothing at all. What matters is the practitioner's dedication to learning afterwards. NLP is a field that continually expands. Constantly. If it was possible to put even all the basic NLP knowledge that exists now into a new course- that course would probably be between 5 to 10 years of dedicated intense study, but No, the course will always be about 3 weeks as the format was set out 20 years ago by it's creator.
Since my qualifications in 2001 - I have studied it every day monday to friday. It is my absolute passion. I have done trainings with lots of different people, I buy DVD's and audio-courses from all over the world, I buy all the books that get released, every year I do trainings and workshops with specialists who come to Australia from all over the world, I have a huge social network of other NLP & Hypnosis therapists all over the globe that I assist, I listen to NLP, hypnosis and therapy stuff on my ipod for hours every day when i'm exercising and running errands and the like.. My thirst for this knowledge has always been extreme to say the least. This is WHY I can make my guarantees of success with you. It is from years of experience, of learning and most importantly from doing things and getting things wrong. Rapid-change mental health is my life. It is WHY I am the best at it. I make my guarantees with confidence. There are other therapists in Brisbane who have done these 3-week courses, some have even done their 3-weeks with Richard Bandler or John Grinder themselves. but, what difference does it make? It's STILL only 3 weeks (and in the case of Richard Bandler it's only 2 weeks).
